Some guy with brigh red hair doing a crazy dance with his guitar
No this isn't really an almost naked guy going into the spa - it is a statue of a Roman soldier in the Roman Baths exhibit
Wooden model of what they believed the old Roman Temple and Baths used to look like
Stones that used to decorate the front top of the temple
A cornerstone from the original altar at Bath Spa - it was found as the cornerstone of a Church 8 miles away
The actual hot springs. Notice the steam on the water - it is about 120 degrees F when it comes out of the ground
The hot springs. Notice the bubbles coming up from the water. These are from natural gases that are coming up with the water; it's the original jacuzzi!
Statue in the hot springs dedicated to a legendary founder of the springs.
Mike loved this sign. Check out the third line. The carver couldn't fit the word "philosopher" on one line, so they just added it in above.
Christine and the back of a stone head found on the sight, showing off Roman hairdos.
An old Roman drain from the Baths to the Avon River. Still in use almost 2000 years after it was built; that was amazing construction technique!
A wooden model of what they actually excavated from the Roman Temple and Bath site.
Christine in front of another drain -this one a bit prettier with a waterfall. The water appears red due to iron deposits on the stone.

Another shot of the waterfall drain.

The Bizarre Bath tour - our guide is the guy in the purple coat with the purple balloons.
Our guide on the Bizarre Bath tour blindfolded himself and stagger down the streets, leading our group (about 50 people) to one of the ley lines in Bath, using "only his psychic powers" - hilarious!
Our guide said he had "Harry Houdinis's Bunny." He chained up a stuffed bunny, put it in a bag with some dumbells and threw the bag into the river. He claimed that the bunny would escape within 10 seconds.
Splash! The bunny goes into the river.
Ten....nine...eight......oh, no! Will the bunny make it?
Yeah! The bunny resurfaces!
Someone from our group is trying out the stocks when our guide reveals it is actually a guillotine!
The guillotine cuts through the carrots (notice the carrot in midair - nice shot), but leaves her head intact.
See Christine operating the lock at Marlborough House with its large skeleton key
